General Information:

Parents: The parent presentation will take place on your child’s evaluation day. This presentation goes over the rules, regulations and conduct expected during the volleyball season. You will be responsible for the content of the presentation even if you were unable to attend in person.

Every child needs to have a signed code of conduct form on file before they are allowed to play at Girls Place.

Coaches: If you are interested in coaching a volleyball team, please contact Taryn Buckley at Taryn@GirlsPlace.net

Sponsors: Sponsorships and donations are vital to the volleyball program. If you are interested in sponsoring a team or the volleyball program, please use this form.

Practices: The girls will practice two days a week on either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday schedule for approximately one hour. Please note that requests for specific practice days will be considered, but realize that not every request can be accommodated. 2011 Fall Volleyball Teams

Games: Take place on Friday night and/or Saturday. Each team usually has 10-12 games per season. The schedule will be posted on the Quickscores Website!

Dates to remember!

August 7th & 13th, 2011- Evaluations (Only have to attend one date)

August 24, 2011- Team selections are announced via email

Week of August 29th, 2011- Practices begin!

Monday, September 5th- Labor Day (Girls Place Closed)

September 9, 2011- Schedule Released on Quickscores!

September 16th/17th – Exhibition Games

September 23rd/24th- Regular Season Games Begin

Week of November 7th- Championship Week (Games Only, NO Practices!)

November 12th- All Star Games/Coaches Game; 3/4th – 9:30am, 5/6th – 10:30am, 7/8th- 11:30am; Coaches Game – 12:30pm
