ATTENTION track families: there will NOT be practice for track during spring break week.

Girls Place participates with the Boys and Girls Club and The City of Gainesville throughout the track season.

Practices and Meets

Practices will take place twice a week on Girls Place property. They will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 starting March 19th!

Track meets will occur every Friday evening at 5:15pm at the Kiwanis Challenge Park (the track directly behind Girls Place). The first meet will take place on April 12th!

Fees

Season fee is $75 (annual membership cost is an additional $20, if not a current member)

Scholarships are available and will be awarded on a first come, first serve (as needed) basis.

All other applicants must pay the $75 registration fee by March 25th. Note that in order to receive this scholarship, Girls Place MUST have proof of lunch status on file. Failure to produce the necessary documentation will result in the full fee of $75 to be charged to your account.

What to bring for practices and meets

Girls should bring a water bottle and should be wearing athletic clothing, and sneakers to all events.
